Another house piece but a bit different for a few reasons: First it's a nocturne, not something that I do very often but fun none-the-less. Secondly I'm not going to be painting many homes with the ocean in the background (I live in Ohio not too many of those around.) Lastly this one was unique for me in that the moon was popping up as the sun was just dropping behind the horizon, so the windows of this beach house lit up with a really warm glow that created an interesting effect.
Very appealing. I like the light around the moon. My first thought about the light in the windows is that everyone is home and enjoying living by the beach.
