"O" is for orange. This one again features a tangerine and intense oranges are abound. It also features a piece of fabric that Jen gave me back at my apprenticeship almost ten years ago. Its a tough one to stick into a still life beacuse of the color intensity and contrast lend it to be the subject of the painting rather than a simple part but in this one I think it fits nicely.
Milk is such a challenging subject to paint because is absorbs, and reflects, the colors around it. Right at the edges of it can be tricky as well because there is always a transparent residue that has its own colors.
