DAILY DIAPER #192 "I've got an idea!"

One of the last in this small series of self portraits, this actually was the first one that I came up with to paint. Breaking the brush tradition I decided to go with one of my trusty old pastel pencils. How I come up with my idea I really dont know but this is probably the Giner Pile look that occurs when the occasion occurs that I do get one.

On the painting of this piece I wanted to, out of respect for the pastel pencil, use alot more broken color than I normally would. Putting fresh color on a brush and scumbling over and over until you get the effect you want is something that I really figured out how to do when I started painting in pastels 8-9 years ago.
