Minnesota Inspiration #1
This next set of paintings is inspired by a painter I crossed paths with in Minnesota. I had the opportunity to see a painting this artist did of a watermelon with a small little plug cut out of it on a table. The way that the watermelon and all of its wonderful colors was painted has stayed with me for well over ten years now. I can still see it, still feel it. These pieces are a tribute to that memory and in a way to that artist who had a very profound affect on me. (There might be a few people out there from the land of cold and snow that know the artist that I am referring to:)
