#354 A Kings Card Trick

I was rifling through my still life closet recently and came across my little repository of playing cards which happens to be an old tattered box. There was a time that almost every other piece I painted in pastel or oil had one of these little guys in it. So I thought I'd give a couple of them a bit of fresh air and light. As I've stated in past posts, the fun of these little paintings is sometimes in challenge of the setting up of them and getting them to stay a still life, rather than a "roll off the table and bruise the hell out an apple life."
