#328 "Just Super"

Here's a piece that is a bit of a study for my upcoming show "Head in The Clouds"  at Cincinnati Art Galleries. Most of what's going to be in the show will center around my daughter's toy collection, more specifically here Little People Collection. I've found myself drawn to these little guys for their color, expressions, and story telling potential. I've already painted this Superman once in a finished piece with a doughnut and it jumped off the wall as quickly as I put it up for sale. So to kinda get myself back into the swing of things I put Mr Kent here on one of the pickets of our backyard fence so the sunlight hit him nice and strong. So here's the first of what I imagine will be many Little People pieces.
